World peace means that when we begin to love and accept ourselves, that we can love and accept others, as well.
Upon meeting us, and getting to know about our mission walk2peace, what did it evoke in you?

I instantaneously had the utmost respect and admiration for the beautiful commitment you’ve made to this deeply profound and also brave journey you’re taking. I felt truly grateful for you listening to the innermost voice that inspired you to do this. In other words, I felt GRATEFUL, in AWE, & INSPIRED!

What does World Peace mean to you?

World peace means that when we begin to love and accept ourselves, that we can love and accept others, as well.

How and when did working for peace in any form become personal for you?

When I realized that we are all connected; that everything I do affects those around me, and vice versa. But I also think I was born that way – being sensitive and empathic makes me feel the emotions of those around me. It helped me realize just how connected we all are.

What is your way to World Peace?

Compassion. For self (we can subconsciously be very hard on ourselves), and for others – even if we don’t understand them or their viewpoints. It is hurt people who hurt people. If we can soften around our judgement and treatment of them, ask questions, and begin to see why they have become the way they are, even when we are angry or frustrated with them – which is healthy to have these very human reactions – we can begin a process of healing that none of us have really experienced for an elongated amount of time yet in this world. It IS possible and it begins here and now, with us!
